Youth employment through vocational training

The high percentage of unemployment and underemployment coupled with the lack of access to social and financial support has driven many young Egyptians into despairs. With this project those problems will be addressed through investing in youth and raising their awareness on the comparative advantage and natural resources. The overall objective is to provide positive and viable models for good practice in developing youth capacities and sustainable businesses models. It will target directly “disadvantaged youth”, who are defined as youth who are out-of-school, unemployed and /or at risk of dropping out of school. Also the age of the target youth is between 15-29. The direct beneficiaries of the vocational training program will consist of 470 youth and women, while indirectly 3290 family members will benefit trhough the direct beneficiaries and in total 16.000 community members from four districts will be impacted in one way or another.
